A Bouquet of Czech Folktales 2021

A photo book with staged photos focused on fairy tales, created as a graduation thesis. The book contains photographic renderings of ballads from the book Kytice by Karel Jaromír Erben. Each series is carried in the spirit of a ballad, where they maintain a unified visual and concept.

Fleas 2020

You can drive the same road so many times and tell yourself that you will never drive it again. You can laugh, lie, cry, love, and die so many times, and think that this is the first and last time you felt this way. That everything has a beginning and an end. I thought so too, so I started writing my feelings. It took me a while, but then it suddenly dawned on me that the beginning and the end mean the same thing, that both are equally happy, lied, yelled, loving, and dead. That I'm going down the same road again. The book was written during the first state of emergency in Bohemia, so the author tried to bring joy to this time. That's why the book's visuals play with colors and fonts that are interesting and entertaining. The author's main inspiration was from the 1950s to the 1980s. The photos in the book have been processed in the form of analog photography to add period fidelity.

Fantasy 2019

A photographic cycle of staged photographs conveys the main construction of the story to the viewer and it is up to the viewer to interpret the story, thanks to which an infinite number of possibilities for stories and interpretations can arise. Each series from the cycle has its own specific concept of visuals and format.

PSYCHÉDÉLIQUE 2019

The desire to discover new worlds and play with reality represents a new concept of landscape depiction in the confrontation of diverse colors. The series of photographs was created as part of a workshop at the Start film fest festival in Bystřice and Pernštejnem and the photographs were taken with Fujifilm cameras.

FShopgram 2019

Following the example of the Avant-Garde from France and the Weimar Republic, a series was created based on the imitation of Rayograms - Photograms created by Man Ray, Christian Schad, and László Moholy-Nagy. FShopgram is a retrospective series of photographs that goes back to the beginning of photography. And so there is a connection between old and modern ideas and techniques when the objects were photographed on the backlit glass on which the objects were stored. Subsequently, the photographs were edited in Photoshop to achieve a similar vision and impression of the photographs.

Captive of neons 2018

A series of stylized portraits in which man, city and nature are confronted with neon objects of various shapes that hold new symbolism and meaning.

Emotions 2018

A series of self-portraits depicting emotions with the help of facial expressions and bodypainting, from joy to anger to sadness, which we experience every day in life, are an absolutely essential expressive ability for a person, without which a person would not be able to use his potential.

Smoke bomb in nature 2017

Nature is a beautiful sight in the world. In the four seasons of the year, people may need a lot of today's experiences. Unfortunately, in modern times, the landscape may already seem to be boring to some people. And so it is up to us to come up with a way to revive the landscape and provide a new experience to the landscape and the people around us. That's why nowadays a lot of artists come up with happenings and land-art pieces that provide new experiences to both people and nature.

During the year, we usually see fog in nature, which is shapeless and colorless. And so I myself experimented with smoke in nature and researched how the smoke would behave in nature and how it would harmonize with the landscape.
